Against The Tide: A Surfers Journey - Local History

A group of teenagers living in an eastern sea shore town immerse themselves in anything having to do with water- swimming, sailing, fishing and most of all, surfing. As they scatter into adult life, we learn that for one of these boys, the future is unimaginable.

Against The Tide: A Surfer’s Journey is the story of Keith Buff, a man who was living the American dream. He had a great career, a beautiful family, and enjoyed all kinds of activities that played off his early years in the surf. Everything was amazing, until one day it wasn’t- what follows is a tale of devastation, but more so, of resilience, focus and dogged determination.
